Orders placed before this date are subject to the return policy in effect at the time of purchase. If you have questions about a prior order, contact us at returns@insanepowersports.com.
Our Commitment
We stand behind every product we sell. If something isn't right, we'll make it right. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in new, unused condition with original packaging. We process refunds within 5 business days of receiving your return.
Return Protection (Optional)
At checkout, you can add Return Protection for a small one-time fee. If you need to return an eligible item, we will email you a free prepaid return shipping label. No guesswork, no out-of-pocket shipping costs.
Without Return Protection, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. You can still return items the same way, but you arrange and pay for shipping back to us.
How it works:
- A toggle appears on the cart page and in the cart drawer.
- Fees start at $2.99 and scale with your cart size. The exact amount is always shown before checkout.
- You can turn it on or off at any time before completing your order.
- If you return an eligible item, we email you a prepaid label. Ship it back at no cost.
- Protection covers the entire order, including partial returns (returning one item from a multi-item order).
The Return Protection fee is retained to cover the cost of the prepaid label. All other terms of this policy still apply.
What Can Be Returned
You can return any Insane Powersports purchase within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or refund, provided:
- The item is in new, unused, and uninstalled condition.
- All original packaging, tags, and accessories are intact and included.
- You have your order number or receipt.
Items showing wear, damage from improper use, or signs of installation are not eligible for return.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Electronics with packaging removed or manufacturer seals broken.
- Tuners (all tuners are non-returnable).
- Installed parts or parts showing signs of attempted installation.
- Tools and chemicals that have been opened or had seals broken.
- Open-box items where the original packaging has been destroyed.
- Dynojet products must be factory sealed. If the box has been opened, we cannot accept the return.
How to Start a Return
Step 1: Request a Return Authorization (RA) Number
Contact our team by email at returns@insanepowersports.com or by phone at (877) 346-7779 during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM CT). Have your order number ready. You will receive a response within 3 business days.
Step 2: Receive Your RA and Shipping Instructions
Once approved, we will email you a Return Authorization number, shipping instructions, and (if your order includes Return Protection) a prepaid shipping label. You have 30 days from the date the RA is issued to ship the item back.
Step 3: Pack and Ship
Do NOT ship returns directly to our office address. Return packages must be sent to the address provided in your Return Authorization email. If you purchased Return Protection, use the prepaid label we provide. Packages sent to our office without authorization may be refused or delayed.
- Ship only to the return address provided in your RA email.
- Place all items in a shipping box. You may reuse the original shipping container.
- Do NOT use the manufacturer's product box as the shipping container. It must be inside a separate outer box.
- Do NOT tape directly to the product packaging.
- Include the RA form from your email inside the box.
- Keep your return tracking number. Insane Powersports is not responsible for packages lost during return shipment.
Step 4: Refund Issued
Once the item is received and verified as eligible, your refund will be processed within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 2 to 3 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.
Exchanges
Need a different size, color, or part number? Start your return using the process above, then place a new order for the correct item. This ensures you get the replacement as fast as possible without waiting for us to receive the original.
If your new order qualifies for free shipping, it ships at no additional cost. Return shipping on the original item follows the standard return policy (covered by Return Protection, or your responsibility without it).
Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items
If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us immediately. We will cover return shipping at no cost to you, regardless of Return Protection status. Please do not send items C.O.D.

A Note on Fitment
We carry thousands of parts across hundreds of makes, models, and years. We work hard to keep fitment data accurate, but if you are unsure whether a part fits your machine, please contact us before ordering. How long do I have to return an item?
30 days from the date of delivery. The item must be in new, unused condition with original packaging.
Where do I ship my return?
Do not ship returns to our office address. We will provide the correct return shipping address in your Return Authorization email. If you have Return Protection, the prepaid label will already have the correct address.
Who pays for return shipping?
If you purchased Return Protection at checkout, we provide a free prepaid label. If you did not, return shipping is your responsibility.
What if my order was placed before Return Protection was available?
Orders placed before this policy was updated (May 12, 2026) are subject to the return policy that was in effect at the time of purchase. Contact us and we will walk you through the process.
Can I return just one item from a multi-item order?
Yes. Partial returns are accepted. If you have Return Protection, it covers individual items from your order.
How long does it take to get my refund?
We process refunds within 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Your bank or credit card company may take an additional 2 to 3 business days to post the credit.
How do I check the status of my return?
Email returns@insanepowersports.com with your order number and RA number. Our team will respond within 3 business days.
I received the wrong item. What do I do?
Contact us right away. We cover return shipping on all defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items at no cost to you.
